COE Complaint Process

Council on Occupational Education (COE)
The Council on Occupational Education (COE) requires students to first exhaust an institution's internal grievance procedures before filing a formal complaint. If unresolved, students can file a certified complaint via the COE online form for issues concerning compliance, policies, or practices.

COE Complaint Process Steps
1. Complaint Procedures of the Commission
2. Submit a Certified Complaint: If the institution fails to resolve the issue, fill out the Certified Complaint Form and submit it to COE.
•Documentation: Complaints should be detailed, written, and accompanied by supporting evidence.
•Non-Jurisdiction: COE generally does not handle disputes regarding grades, student conduct, or tuition refunds unless they are tied to a violation of the institution's accreditation standards.
